The intended journey

How gift-card support is planned to work

  1. You buy a gift card

    Once giving is live, choose an Uber, Lyft, or gas gift card and the Triangle-area destination you want it to support.

  2. We receive and verify it

    Harper's Free Ride confirms the gift card and prepares it for the approved distribution process.

  3. We place it with care teams

    After coordination, the gift card goes to an approved family-support contact serving the selected medical destination.

  4. A family uses the support

    An eligible family can use the ride or fuel value to help a child travel to medical care.
